Hudson Sandler is delighted to have been appointed by KERB, the original street food collective, as its retained corporate communications agency.
Launched in 2012, KERB is a hospitality group which pioneered the UK’s modern street food movement. Underpinned by its membership network of more than 180 carefully selected independent street food traders, KERB is where serious food brands go to learn, test, grow and gain legitimacy before scaling.
At its core is its social enterprise, KERB+, which offers multi-level support for entrepreneurs from less-advantaged backgrounds, including engagement and coaching, as well as its unique InKERBator programme that equips traders with all the skills they need to be successful.
Traders can then gain access to its KERB+ pop-up street food events as well as its permanent food halls and venues, including Seven Dials Market in Covent Garden, Corner Corner in Canada Water, and KERB Berlin. KERB’s markets have acted as a springboard for loved brands, including Bleecker Burger – ranked the best burger restaurant in the world in 2026, Pizza Pilgrims, and BAO.
Backed by Levy – part of Compass Group – KERB also acts as a bridge between street food traders and cultural institutions. The Group has long-standing contracts with stadia such as the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Villa Park, major sporting events, and other arts and lifestyle destinations including the National Theatre, offering street food traders one-of-a-kind opportunities to scale their businesses.
As the Group continues scaling in the UK and internationally, the Hudson Sandler team will deliver an impactful corporate communications strategy to raise the profile of the brand amongst key corporate stakeholders.
Andy Richards, Associate Partner, at Hudson Sandler, commented: “The UK’s street food scene wouldn’t be where it is today without KERB, which pioneered large-scale markets nearly 15 years ago. However, today, KERB’s story is far more compelling. Building on its heritage and extensive membership network, the Group has diversified its business model and cemented itself as a bridge between independent traders and institutions while delivering strong and sustained growth. Now as it continues its exciting growth journey, we’re delighted to support KERB and play our role in the next phase of its development.”
KERB joins Hudson Sandler’s growing roster of leading food and beverage brands. Today, this includes food-on-the-go retailer Greggs, Indian street food and café brand Chaiiwala, fast-growing QSR brand Popeyes UK, global bubble tea leader Gong cha, and franchised pizza takeaway brand Caprinos Pizza, amongst others.
